Sacred Scripture

  • Greek Study Aids - The Institute of Biblical Greek provides an expansive catalog of links to assist one in learning Greek.

  • Patristic Literature - This excellent resource, found on newadvent.org, contains a wealth of writings from many Fathers of the Church.

St. Thomas Aquinas
  • Complete Works in Latin - For those who want to get out their Latin dictionary and practice their classics skills, you can check out this useful resource.

Hans Urs von Balthasar
  • Wikipedia Article - This article is an enlightening introduction to one of the most prolific and influential theologians of the 20th century.
  • Internet Archive - Packed with information, this resource has articles by von Balthasar and articles about him.
  • Quotes - This is a collection of quotes from von Balthasar.

Miscellaneous
  • Catholic Encyclopedia - This encyclopedia found on newadvent.org is a helpful theological resource - however, this is the 1913 version of the Catholic Encyclopedia, so much of the information in it is antiquated.
  • Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy - This is a handy reference for looking up philosophers from Aristotle to Zeno and for getting the condensed version of numerous philosophical concepts.
  • Bibliotheca Augustana - For linguists who want to explore works of literature in their original languages, this resource is a treasure trove.  It includes philosophical and literary works in addition to theological literature.
  • Catholiclinks.org - This resource is not so much a theology resource as it is a resource for basic Catholic doctrine and spiritual devotions.
  • The Vatican Webpage - Encyclicals, Apostolic Constitutions, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and a myriad of other works can be found here.
